What is Mixxy?
Mixxy is an activity discovery app. Swipe through a curated feed of things to do in your city, save the ones that interest you, and organize them into personal playbooks. Available now in New York City, with more cities coming soon.
How do I save an activity?
Swipe right on any card in the Discover tab to save it to your Library. You can also tap the card to see full details before deciding. Saved activities appear in your Library under the Liked section.
What are playbooks?
Playbooks let you organize your saved activities into named collections. You can create up to five custom playbooks (for example: Date Night, Weekend Plans, or Cheap Eats). Any saved activity can be added to one or more playbooks.
How do I remove an activity from my Library?
Open the activity from your Library or a playbook, then tap Remove from Liked. If the activity is in any of your playbooks, you can also remove it from a specific playbook without unliking it entirely.
Will a removed activity show up again in Discover?
Yes. Removing an activity from your Library also removes it from your swipe history, so it can reappear in the Discover feed in a future session.
How do I delete my account?
To request account deletion, email us at mixxysupport@gmail.com with the subject line "Delete my account." We will permanently delete your account and all associated data within 30 days.
Why am I being asked to allow tracking?
Mixxy displays ads to support free access to the app. On iOS, Apple requires us to ask your permission before using your device's advertising identifier to personalize ads. You can choose not to allow tracking and ads will still be shown, just not personalized. You can change this setting at any time in your device Settings under Privacy and Security.
Something is not working. What should I do?
Try closing and reopening the app. If the issue persists, email us at mixxysupport@gmail.com with a brief description of what happened and your device model and iOS version. We respond within one business day.
